Vinyl Plank Flooring in Warragul & Gippsland
The waterproof floating floor that looks like timber without the cost or the maintenance — supplied and installed by Gippsland's trusted flooring team.
All the look of timber, none of the drama.
Vinyl planks have taken over the Gippsland renovation market for one simple reason: they look great, handle water, and cost a fraction of engineered timber. A rigid-core SPC vinyl plank floating floor installs over most existing substrates in a day, requires no sanding, no polishing and no oil treatments, and handles dogs, kids and wet feet without complaint. If you want timber looks without timber's sensitivities, this is your floor.
Why vinyl planks have become Gippsland's most-installed floor.
100% waterproof
Unlike timber and laminate, vinyl planks won't swell, cup or buckle when wet. Safe for kitchens, bathrooms and laundries.
Rigid core stability
SPC (stone polymer composite) core boards are dimensionally stable — they don't expand and contract with Gippsland's temperature swings the way laminate does.
Floating install
Clicks together over almost any existing substrate — tiles, concrete, timber. No adhesive, no grinding, no mess in most cases.
Pet and kid resistant
Scratch-resistant wear layers and waterproof construction handle real family and pet use. Most ranges carry pet-specific warranties.
Realistic timber looks
Premium embossed-in-register planks have visible wood grain texture matching the printed design — the gold standard of timber-look vinyl.
Built-in underlay options
Many ranges come with pre-attached acoustic underlay, reducing installation time and improving underfoot comfort and sound transmission.
Three plank grades for every Gippsland home and budget.
We bring plank samples to your home so you can see colour and texture in your own light — against your walls, your furniture, your cabinetry.

The vinyl plank FAQ.
How much do vinyl planks cost installed in Warragul?
Entry-level SPC planks from $45–$70 per square metre installed. Mid-range family planks $70–$100 per square metre. Premium EIR planks $100–$140 per square metre. All prices include installation and standard trims — fixed after a free measure.
What's the difference between SPC and LVT vinyl planks?
SPC (stone polymer composite) has a rigid stone-polymer core that is more dimensionally stable and better suited to large open-plan areas and temperature-variable rooms. LVT (luxury vinyl tile/plank) has a softer, more flexible core. SPC is generally the better choice for Australian conditions.
Can vinyl planks go in a bathroom?
Yes — vinyl planks are 100% waterproof. The install method in wet areas typically uses a different sealant at joins and thresholds. We can advise whether your specific bathroom layout suits planks or whether sheet vinyl would be a better choice.
Do I need to remove my existing floor first?
Often not. SPC planks float over existing tiles, concrete and even old vinyl in many cases. The substrate needs to be flat and level — we check this during the free measure and advise on any levelling required.
Are vinyl planks suitable for underfloor heating?
Most SPC vinyl planks are compatible with electric underfloor heating up to 27°C substrate temperature. We'll confirm compatibility for your specific product before we specify your floor.
What wear layer thickness should I choose?
0.3mm for low-traffic or rental use. 0.5mm for family homes with kids and pets. 0.7mm for high-traffic areas or where you want maximum longevity. We match the wear layer to how you'll actually use the floor.
